03/06 Downtown Boston
Collision Collective invited sosolimited to contribute an installation to the Boston Windows Art Project of 2005. Our entry was a stack of three televisions linked together into an audiovisual composition.
Titled "Algorithmic Materialization Study #0", this piece was a sculptural exploration of the graphical structures found in our audiovisual performances. After establishing a strict set of spatial rules, each one of us designed with one of three graphical primitives: points lines, or planes.
The audio composition was designed with an analogous rule set and is the impetus for all visible movements in the piece.
