sosoConception celebrated Valentine’s Day - a Hallmark holiday of heart shaped chocolates, roses, and romantic dinners - with a collection of the mucous-coated, flagellum-sputtering, squishy, squirting mechanics of love making. We spanned the subjects of original sin, physician-assisted romance, sex education and future modes of reproduction with a fascinating collection of video and audio samples.

Visuals were projected onto a series of layered translucent screens that caught the glowing images in a ghostly way while allowing light to pass through onto the brick walls of the space.

The show was set to an original soundtrack. As the endoscope burrowed through the deepest regions of the fallopian tubes, the audience was treated to the world debut of Fertilize Me, a freestyle love ballad between an amorous spermatozoa and a receptive ovum.
